ANDEAN - LAKE CROSSING
It
is the most scenic way to travel from Argentina to Chile.
This spectacular Andes crossing takes you through lakes and
mountain passes that can either start from Puerto Montt - Puerto Varas to
Bariloche or Bariloche (Argentina) to Puerto Varas - Puerto
Montt (Chile).
This
route operates all year round, except Dec 25th
and Jan 1st. One of the peculiarities of the adventure, in
addition to the natural scenic beauty, is that it
alternates between bus and catamaran through different lakes
located between Chile and Argentina. It is a great
experience and only those who had lived it, can understand
their real magnitude. The crossing includes four lakes: Nahuel-Huapi, Frias (Argentina), Todos los Santos and
Llanquihue (Chile)
There are
02 routes to choose : 01 Day Route valid from September to
April and 02 Days Route, valid all year round. The 02 days
route includes 01 night of lodging in Peulla, located in the
Border of Chile & Argentina. There, you will have the option
to choose between 02 hotels to rest : Hotel Peulla and
Hotel Natura Patagonia.
